America's Shadow Budget

Warning: if you follow the link and read the article your blood pressure will go through the roof.  The inmates are not only running the asylum, they are in the process of destroying it aided and abetted by the Federal Reserve.   This is beyond shocking and outrageous.  It is frightening in it's implications of how the very rich are the rulers now.  I suppose they have always been our shadow masters, but now it is almost a fait acompli.

America's Shadow Budget

For a change of pace, here is a follow-up on my travels with Lynne.

Click on the picture to enlarge.  The first four were taken at the Visitor Center of Saguaro National Monument West.  The rest were taken as we wended our way through the monument.

Nice pics Darlene. Some of those cactus plants are really beautiful. I haven't gone to the link to look at the Shadow Budget...don't really need to elevate my BP right now; but maybe I'll check it out a little later. Take care sweetie... ~Joy

The photos win. The Shadow Budget reminds me of here in the UK too..... I've just been ranting about the banks and the way they always seem to win.

*Joy - I don't want to raise your BP. You can skip the article.

*Freda - Nice to see your name in my comment sections. Sorry I haven't visited lately, but life is creating many distractions right now.

It does seem that we have the same problem. It can make you crazy, can't it?

Open spaces heal the spirit, don't they.
I'll look at the link after I check my blood pressure.

Ah, there is no beauty like the beauty of the desert. Even the little glimpse of the museum is tantalizing, with wonderful southwest architecture. I have never walked amongst cactus like this and enjoyed doing so via this post. I am so glad you enjoyed your time with family.

*Looking to the Stars - I will keep the emails coming.

*Hattie - Yes, they seem to.

*Lydia - Thank you. I am so glad that you can appreciate the desert beauty.

LOVE the pics! *sigh* Would love to be there. How did the saguaros (and others) do with that hard freeze you had?

Re: "America's Shadow Budget":
I've said it for years - Wall Street is an abomination which should be torn down, completely destroyed, and then revamped with strict regulatory safeguards to prevent even one iota of tomfoolery! It is a perversion of economic democracy as it stands today. B of A, Chase, Goldman Sachs, and all the others should be neutron-bombed to smithereens!

*Barry - I lost half of my succulents and all of my large cacti. I will not re-pot them because if something can't take the heat or the cold it doesn't belong in my yard. I am too old to go out and cover them when it's going to freeze.

*Jack Jodell - Thank you. I enjoy taking pictures.

You said it well regarding Wall Street.

Holy crap, Darlene! First, those are wonderful photos of the desert. Second, it just boggles what's left of my mind to read that "shadow budget" piece. This calls for ACTION!! Do you think our Kenyan Socialist has read this? Has he responded to any questions about this? Do we have to depend on Jon Stewart for EVERYTHING??!!!

Nah, Darlene, I'm only admiring the cactus pics and thinking we could all send a small potted one to selected fools governing us. Working on lowering my own rage quotient by baking bread.

*Xtreme English - Jon Stewart is the only one who makes sense these days.

*Naomi Dagen Bloom - How I would love the crust from one of the loaves of your freshly baked bread. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.
