My Girls

I am now back at my infernal machine (aka: the computer) after spending nine days in California. I am valiantly trying to catch up on my tasks. How can so many things accumulate in one week?

To introduce you to the cast of characters I visited I will start this post with the photo of three of my girls plus me. The one in blue is Lynne (you met her in a previous post), the star of the event (she said modestly), my step-granddaughter, Pam, and my daughter, Gail.

This is my 15 year old granddaughter, Rachel. As you can see, she has discovered cosmetics and hair color. She is the only brunette in my family and it is thanks to Clairol (or another dye solution). She wants to be a doctor. I hope she makes that dream come true because it could come in handy.

This is my daughter, Gail. She took me all over in her Acura and we had long chats. I really enjoyed the visit.

This is Sarah, the 12 year old. She is wearing her color guard costume and I was privileged to see them get an award for their performance.

Rachel again at the computer. She is really growing up fast (15 going on 20).

Now that you have met the cast I will tell you the plot of my wonderful time in my next post.

You're blessed with lovely looking girls. They obviously take after their mother and grandmother.

Beautiful, beautiful girls. You can even see Rachel's natural beauty under the makeup. I envy you the 9 day visit and know you had a ball.

Thanks for your kind words for Ron. He is in very good shape considering the Van was a total loss. Yep, none of us know what each new day will bring.

Welcome home Darlene!
